ACQUIN experts highly appreciated the activities of UWED

On July 31, 2026, the third day of the ACQUIN international expert group’s visit to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy ended.

During the day, experts held meetings with representatives of the university management, education quality assurance units, administrative and service services, as well as with teachers and coordinators of educational programs. During the meetings, issues of internal quality assurance, management of educational programs, digital transformation, student support, international cooperation, personnel policy and development of university infrastructure were discussed.

Following the visit, a final meeting was held, during which the expert group provided preliminary feedback. Experts positively assessed the systematic work of UWED, the professionalism of the university team, openness to dialogue and continuous improvement, as well as the results achieved in the field of education, scientific research and institutional development.

As part of the cultural program, on August 1, a trip to Samarkand was organized for members of the expert group. The guests got acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of the city and visited its main attractions. The experts shared their positive impressions of the trip, noting the high level of organization of the program, hospitality and the unique atmosphere of Samarkand.
