On May 19 of the current year, a practical training session was organized for first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy at the Mirabad Interdistrict Civil Court. The visit was organized by the professors and instructors of the Department of Political Science. The event aimed to strengthen students’ theoretical knowledge through practical experience, familiarize them with the activities of the judicial and legal system, and enhance their legal awareness and culture.

During the practical session, students became acquainted with the main areas of court activities, the procedures for organizing civil court proceedings, the powers and responsibilities of judges, as well as the reforms being implemented within the judicial and legal system. In addition, they received detailed information about court administration processes, the system for handling public appeals, and the introduction of modern information technologies into judicial activities.

As part of the visit, an open dialogue was organized with the district court judges, during which students received comprehensive answers to their questions. The discussion also focused on enhancing legal awareness and legal culture among young people, the role of young professionals in ensuring the rule of law, and the interconnection between the fields of international relations and law.

This practical training session helped students gain a broader understanding of the judicial and legal system and played an important role in developing the practical skills necessary for their future professional activities.
