Graduation Ceremony Held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

On June 12 of this year, a graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

This academic year, 393 students successfully graduated from the academic lyceum. A significant number of graduates achieved high results during their studies, actively participating in subject olympiads, various competitions, and public life, thereby demonstrating their knowledge and potential.

In accordance with Resolution No. 154 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated February 22, 2019, “On the Procedure for Awarding Gold and Silver Medals to Gifted Graduates of General Secondary Education Institutions and Academic Lyceums”, 5 graduates were awarded gold medals and 8 graduates were awarded silver medals for excellent academic performance, exemplary conduct, and active participation in public life. Additionally, 73 students received diplomas with honors.

The achievements of lyceum students in obtaining international and national certificates were also specially recognized. In particular, 22 graduates who scored the maximum 189 points for early admission to higher education institutions and hold international and national certificates in 4 or more subjects were awarded the "Pride of the Academic Lyceum" commemorative gift.

The lyceum's achievements in international cooperation were also highlighted at the event. In accordance with Presidential Resolution No. PP-5113 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated May 11, 2021, “On Measures for the Accelerated Development of the Service Sector”, students who successfully completed joint educational programs implemented by the academic lyceum in cooperation with the European University Viadrina (Germany) and the International Northern University were awarded the corresponding certificates.

Within these programs, 9 graduates were admitted on a grant basis directly to the 2nd year at the European University Viadrina, and 5 graduates to the 1st year of the same university. Furthermore, 23 graduates were enrolled in the 2nd year and 54 graduates in the 1st year of the International Northern University, gaining the opportunity to continue their education. During the event, the hard work of mentors who made a worthy contribution to the educational process and showed dedication in nurturing the younger generation as well-rounded individuals was also highly praised; 9 educators were awarded commemorative gifts in various categories.

Speakers at the ceremony congratulated the graduates on this next important stage in their lives and wished them great success in their future studies and endeavors.
