Rector of UWED Meets with Ambassador of Malaysia to Uzbekistan

Sodyq Safoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, held a meeting with Ilham Tua bin Ilyas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

It was noted that in recent years, political dialogue, trade and economic ties, investment cooperation, and collaboration in education, tourism, and the cultural and humanitarian spheres between Uzbekistan and Malaysia have been steadily expanding.

The importance of elevating mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level, making effective use of existing potential, and further developing inter-parliamentary relations was emphasized.
