From June 9 to June 30, 2024, talented students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took part in the summer school "Shanghai Summer School: Chinese Culinary Culture and Craft Program", organized by Shanghai Polytechnic University (China).

The program was aimed at immersing themselves in Chinese culture, including its culinary traditions and handicrafts, as well as introducing international students to the historical and cultural heritage of China. Together with young people from different countries, representatives of Uzbekistan also actively participated in the project.

Within the framework of the school, students:

studied the history of Chinese cuisine and regional gastronomic features;

got acquainted with the philosophy of healthy eating and traditional crafts;

in practical classes, they mastered the techniques of cooking national dishes under the guidance of chefs;

apply the knowledge gained in real conditions, strengthening their skills.

The program allowed participants not only to expand their professional competencies, but also to immerse themselves in the cultural environment of China.
