UWED and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of scientific and academic cooperation.

The document is aimed at developing research cooperation, integrating the educational process with practical experience, and supporting the training of highly qualified specialists in economics and finance.

Under the memorandum, the parties plan to implement joint research projects, and organize seminars, training sessions, master classes, conferences, and forums. The document also provides for the involvement of Central Bank specialists as guest lecturers at UWED, and improving educational programs in line with modern requirements.

The cooperation also includes creating internship opportunities for UWED bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students at the Central Bank. In addition, the parties intend to strengthen cooperation in supporting innovative and start-up projects, their development, and commercialization.

The memorandum will contribute to further strengthening scientific and practical ties between UWED and the Central Bank, while creating new opportunities for students and researchers.
