On May 13-14 of this year, students of the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, under the leadership of Naubakhar Uzakbaeva, a lecturer at the Department of International Law and Public Legal Sciences, participated in an international round table and educational exhibition titled "Education and Career in the Field of Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism," held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. The event was organized by the International Network Institute and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of leading higher educational institutions of Russia and Uzbekistan, relevant government agencies, and international organizations, as well as experts in the field of financial security and countering the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism. During the meetings, modern approaches to training specialists for national financial intelligence systems, the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence into educational programs, and issues of increasing the financial literacy of youth were discussed.

Students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy demonstrated high activity during roundtables, masterclasses, and interactive sessions. The "Grafus" training system, designed for modeling financial audits, sparked particular interest among the participants. By analyzing suspicious transactions, identifying illegal money laundering schemes, and using modern digital tools in a game- and practice-oriented manner, participants had the opportunity to feel like true financial scouts.

Within the framework of the exhibition, students also familiarized themselves with the educational programs of the participating universities, the prospects for academic mobility, and international projects in the fields of law, economics, cybersecurity, and digital technologies.

The participation of students from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in this event aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4 - "Qualitative Education" through the development of modern professional competencies and practice-oriented education, SDG 8 - "Decent Work and Economic Growth" through the training of qualified personnel in the field of financial security, and SDG 16 - "Peace, Justice, and Effective Institutions" - through the formation of a culture of legality and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field the fight against financial crimes.

The event became an important platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and involvement of youth in the development of modern mechanisms for ensuring financial security and law and order.
