On May 16 of the current year, a cooking competition was organized among students at JIDU on the initiative of I. Narqulova, coordinator of the university’s “Cooking Club,” with the aim of promoting national and modern cuisine. The event served to develop students’ culinary culture, support creativity, and strengthen the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Students from various faculties of the university actively participated in the competition and demonstrated their culinary skills. The participants competed in preparing national dishes, desserts, and modern foods. Each team was evaluated based on the taste of the dishes, presentation and decoration, соблюдение hygienic standards, and the quality of their presentation.

During the event, Uzbek national dishes, various salads, and desserts were prepared and presented to the guests and the judging panel. In particular, the national dishes prepared by the students left a great impression on everyone. Throughout the competition, participants not only tested their skills but also gained new experience and knowledge.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department for Family and Women’s Affairs of the Mirzo Ulugbek District Administration, as well as university professors and teachers as honored guests.

According to the decision of the judging panel, the teams that prepared the best dishes were declared winners and awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. The event was held in a festive atmosphere and left unforgettable impressions on the students.
