On April 25, 2026, faculty members from the Department of European and Turkic Languages at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy—N.K. Khairullaeva, M.B. Sadilova, and Kh.Sh. Khodjaeva—along with third-year students from the Faculty of International Economics and Management, organized an environmental initiative as part of their studies on the topic “Medioambiente” (The Environment).

The event took place in the Bostanlyk district, where students actively participated by collecting litter and cleaning up the area.

The initiative focused on key objectives such as SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). In line with these goals, the group discussed simple yet crucial issues, including keeping the environment clean, reducing waste, and respecting nature. The participants came to understand that maintaining a clean environment is a daily responsibility for everyone. Although a small-scale effort, this initiative is seen as a significant step toward improving the overall ecological situation.

This activity helps to enhance the students' environmental awareness and strengthen their sense of social responsibility.
