A major “Zakovat” competition among students was organized in cooperation between the People’s Democratic Party and UWED

In cooperation with the Tashkent City Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the intellectual competition “Zakovat” was organized to enhance youth knowledge, critical thinking, and intellectual potential.
Teams from 22 leading higher educational institutions of Tashkent took part in the tournament, demonstrating their knowledge, erudition, and logical thinking skills.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and Chairperson of the Tashkent City Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan I. Tokareva delivered remarks, emphasizing the importance of such intellectual contests in revealing the potential of young people.
In addition, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy O. Yusufjonov addressed the participants and officially announced the start of the competition.
Following an exciting and competitive contest, the winners were determined as follows:
1st place – University of World Economy and Diplomacy
2nd place – Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature
3rd place – National University of Uzbekistan.
At the end of the event, all participating teams received commemorative gifts from the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan for their active participation. The winning teams were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
This event contributed to strengthening cooperation among universities, fostering an intellectual environment, and increasing young people’s interest in knowledge.
