On May 30 this year, the faculty of the Uzbek and Russian Languages ​​Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took part in the plenary session and discussion of issues at the international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Teacher's appearance of a 21st Century: Historical Heritage, International Experience, Problems and Solutions" organized by the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan.

The idea of ​​"creating an education, medical and social protection system that fully meets the needs of the people and international standards" put forward in the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy implies taking the education system to a qualitatively new level. In turn, if we proceed from the position that education is a two-way process, then naturally, the status and image of a teacher will be of particular importance in this process.

It is this idea that is reflected in the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" and "On the Status of a Teacher".

Based on the above provisions, the following questions naturally arise: "What should be the teacher of today, i.e. the 21st century?", "What is the image of a teacher in the spiritual heritage of great thinkers?", "How is this issue resolved in developed foreign countries?", "What tasks should be set for teachers and what conditions should be created for them, based on the requirements of modernity?" and others. The corresponding answers to these questions were formulated at a conference held jointly with foreign partners, and practical recommendations were developed based on the study of the historical heritage and international experience.

Representatives of the Russian St. Petersburg University, a number of universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Tajik State Pedagogical University took part in the international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Teacher's appearance of a 21st Century: Historical Heritage, International Experience, Problems and Solutions"  in person and online, organized by the Department of Pedagogical Education of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan, and exchanged views.

The conference participants - education enthusiasts, scientific educators - jointly agreed on important strategic directions of education reform and made proposals for plans for future activities. At the end of the conference, active participants were awarded certificates and all participants were invited to the dinner table. This conference is included in the plan of scientific and practical events approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The electronic scientific collection will also be indexed on the scientific platform Google Scholar (Google Academy) in accordance with modern standards for publishing articles.

Professors and teachers, scientists of universities and research institutes of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign countries, who have significant practical results in scientific research on the topic of the conference, were invited to participate in the conference.
