    On April 29 of the current year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the очередной scientific and practical seminar of the Advisory Council on Women's Issues dedicated to the topic “The Role of a Leading Woman in Society and Her Place in the Family.”

    The seminar focused on the role of women in society, the development of their leadership potential, their responsible duties in family and social life, as well as ongoing reforms aimed at ensuring gender equality.

    The keynote speaker of the event was Pirmukhamedova Umida Bakhtiyarovna. She serves as Advisor to the Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairperson of the Women's Advisory Council, Colonel, and Doctor of Philosophy in Law. In her speech, she highlighted the role of women in public and state administration, as well as the importance of developing leadership qualities.

    During the seminar, E. Sultanova also delivered remarks on outstanding women leaders who have made their mark on the international stage from history to the present day. She emphasized that special attention is being paid to enhancing the status of women in the state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, broad opportunities are being created for women, and the significance of presidential decrees and resolutions in this sphere was underlined.

    The seminar was organized in the form of an open dialogue and question-and-answer session, with active participation from students and faculty members. Female students received detailed answers from specialists to their questions and benefited from practical recommendations.

    In addition, at the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish regular cooperation with the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to organize joint events in the areas of women’s issues, youth development, and professional growth.

    At the end of the seminar, certificates and commemorative gifts from the university were presented to the invited guests.

    This event became an important platform for dialogue aimed at strengthening the role of women in social development, encouraging their academic, social, and political activity, and educating the younger generation through the example of accomplished and active women.
