    On April 3, 2026, a meeting was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) with representatives of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.

    The delegation from the OSCE Academy included Anja Mihr, Director of the MAHRS (Master of Arts in Human Rights and Sustainability) program, Aiym Chotoeva, Program Specialist, and Victoria Orazova, Head of the International Department of the OSCE Academy.

    From UWED, the meeting was attended by Akram Umarov, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Serikbek Murataev, Dean of the Faculty of International Law; and Siddikova Marguba., Head of the Office of Postgraduate Education.

    During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation and the work already carried out within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation. Particular attention was given to academic mobility and the expansion of partnership initiatives.

    UWED expressed its full readiness and strong interest in hosting graduate students from the OSCE Academy within the framework of the MAHRS program for academic mobility during the upcoming Fall semester of 2026. In turn, the OSCE Academy confirmed its readiness to host UWED students at both undergraduate and graduate levels for the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2026–2027 academic year.

    Representatives of the OSCE Academy also expressed interest in the participation of their students in the upcoming Summer School organized by UWED, which will take place from June 29 to July 5, 2026, in Tashkent.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and agreed to continue working on the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives.
