On April 14, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted representatives of Pearson Education (Dubai office).

The delegation included Ekaterina Basirova, Sales Specialist for Central Asia, and Nicolas Abdelmassih, Head of Higher Education for the Gulf & Levant and Central Asia regions.

As part of the visit, the Pearson representatives conducted an information session and an introductory presentation for UWED professors and teaching staff. During the event, participants were introduced to Pearson’s educational solutions, including digital platforms such as MyLab and Mastering, academic resources, and tools designed to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Particular attention was given to modern digital products, such as interactive learning platforms, assessment systems, and data analytics tools aimed at increasing student engagement and improving academic outcomes.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, during which UWED faculty members discussed the use of educational platforms, courses, and prospects for future cooperation with the company.

Following the meeting, both sides expressed their interest in further developing cooperation and implementing innovative educational solutions into the academic process at UWED.
