At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, another preventive event aimed at raising students’ legal awareness and preventing offenses was organized.

The meeting featured Lieutenant Colonel Rahmiddin Nurullayevich Pardayev, a listener of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He delivered a comprehensive lecture for students on the topic: “Prevention of hooliganism and intentional bodily harm among youth”. In his speech, Lt. Col. Pardayev focused on the analysis of offenses committed by young people in Tashkent today. In particular, cases of bodily harm resulting from minor conflicts and their legal consequences were explained through real-life examples.

During the event, special attention was given to the following key aspects:

    - Rule of law. The inevitability of punishment under the Criminal Code articles related to hooliganism and intentional bodily harm was emphasized.

    - Explanations within the framework of the “Knife” (“Tig”) initiative. The prohibition of carrying cold weapons or objects that can be used as such (knives, knuckle-dusters, bats, etc.) in public places, as well as related administrative and criminal liability, were explained.

    - Formation of moral resilience. The importance of resisting negative phenomena such as group-based conflicts among youth and maintaining composure and critical thinking in any situation was highlighted.

During the meeting, video materials related to the topic were demonstrated, showing through concrete examples that offenses negatively affect not only the offender but also their family members and society as a whole. At the end of the event, students received detailed answers to their questions from Lt. Col. Pardayev. Such meetings play an important role in fostering respect for the law, high legal culture, and civic responsibility among students.
