The interuniversity stage of the “Zakovat” intellectual game was held in English for the first time at UWED

On April 11 of this year, the interuniversity stage of the “Zakovat” intellectual game, aimed at developing intellectual potential in the country, was organized in English for the first time at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). A total of 17 university teams participated in the competition, including UWED, TSUL, TSUE, TSUOS, BMU, WUT, AJOU, TOBB ETU, “New Uzbekistan” university, IIAU, UzSWLU, TUIT, UzJMU, TSTU, NUU, TIU and TSUULL.
The event was aimed at developing students’ critical thinking skills, strengthening their English language proficiency, and enhancing their intellectual capacity. While answering questions from various fields, participants demonstrated a high level of knowledge, quick thinking, and strong teamwork skills.
The competition was organized in an engaging and interactive format, fostering a spirit of healthy competition among students. At the end of the event, the winning and prize-winning teams were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts by the university administration.
During the event, the scientific and educational significance of the competition was particularly emphasized, and important recommendations were made to further expand intellectual projects, enhance the knowledge potential of young people, and develop foreign language competencies.
This stage of “Zakovat,” conducted in English, not only increased students’ interest in knowledge but also became an important step in promoting healthy interuniversity competition, independent thinking, and a creative environment.
