A charity visit to the children’s oncology hospital was organized by representatives of UWED

On March 4 of the current year, lecturers from the English Language Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Arslonbekova R. A, Allaberganova D.I., Tashpulatova N. B, Akhmadjanov Kh.A., Zaripova F. Sh., Batirova M.X., and Akmalova Z. N. organized a visit to the Children’s Oncology Hospital.

The visit concluded with a charitable initiative, during which faculty members contributed to a fund established to support the families of five children undergoing treatment for leukemia.

The initiative not only provided crucial assistance to those facing profound hardship but also fostered a stronger sense of community and mutual support within the university. 

This charitable initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Supporting children with serious illnesses and their families reflects the university community's commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and mutual assistance.
