On May 19-23, 2025, a delegation of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Diplomatic Academy under UWED, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, paid a study visit to Finland and Estonia.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Institute of International Relations, the Institute of Public Administration, the University of Helsinki, the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, the Aleksanteri Institute, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Tallinn University, the Estonian School of Diplomacy, the Academy of Electronic Governance and other organizations.

The visit was organized in cooperation with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan to learn international best practices in the training of diplomats and civil servants, as well as to expand academic and scientific cooperation between higher education institutions and research centers in Uzbekistan and Europe.
