A master class of the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Italian Republic was held at UWED

On December 23, 2025, a master class was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, delivered by Abat Fayzullayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Italian Republic. The event was attended by fourth-year students majoring in Political Science and first-year master’s students specializing in Public Administration.
During his presentation, A. Fayzullayev provided a comprehensive overview of the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy. It was noted that Uzbek–Italian relations are developing dynamically across political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, as well as educational spheres.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening intergovernmental dialogue, expanding investment cooperation, enhancing collaboration in industry, agriculture, and energy, as well as developing partnerships in higher education and science. The Ambassador emphasized the growing interest of Italian business circles in the Uzbek market and the favorable conditions being created in the country for foreign investors.
Special emphasis was also placed on the importance of cultural and educational exchanges, which contribute to closer ties between the peoples of the two countries and the formation of stable, long-term relations. In this context, Abat Fayzullayev highlighted the role of graduates of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in promoting the foreign policy and diplomatic initiatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the international stage.
The event was held in an open dialogue format, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss current issues of Uzbek–Italian cooperation.
