UWED teachers organized a meeting with schoolchildren dedicated to explaining the key provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As part of the educational and outreach activities of the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, on December 4, 2025, a meeting was held at Secondary School No. 71 for 11th-grade students, dedicated to explaining the key provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the event, the faculty members presented to the students, in an accessible and interactive format, the fundamental principles of the state structure, the mechanisms for protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as the duties of every citizen toward society and the state. Special attention was given to the role of the Constitution as the fundamental law of the country, which defines the legal and democratic foundations of Uzbekistan’s development.
This session is directly aligned with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) as it aims to improve school students’ civic and legal literacy on the Constitution and the rule of law, strengthen civic responsibility, and promote trust in public institutions.
These activities aim to enhance the legal culture of young people, foster civic responsibility, and strengthen respect for constitutional values. The Faculty of International Law plans to continue organizing such meetings, expanding the number of participating schools and enriching the content of educational programs.
