On 27 February 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted Umid Mukhammadyusupovich Janturaev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and HR Director of JSC “KAFIL-SUG‘URTA”.

As part of the visit, UWED and JSC “KAFIL-SUG‘URTA” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening collaboration in training highly qualified specialists aligned with modern labor market needs. The document envisages cooperation in student internships and practical training, joint scientific and innovative projects (including grant-based initiatives), exchange of experts and mentors, support for student startup and research projects, and the joint use of infrastructure and resources in implementing innovative initiatives. 

Following the signing, Mr. Janturaev delivered an executive session titled “Factors of Achieving Success” . The training focused on career-building competencies, talent identification and development practices, modern HR strategies, and the role of discipline and professional ethics in long-term success.

Participants also received information about the launch of the traditional “KAFIL-SUG‘URTA GRANT”, providing motivated students with an opportunity to combine academic knowledge with practical experience, particularly in economics and IT.

This event marks an important step in strengthening UWED’s practical, career-oriented education and expanding effective university–industry cooperation.
