On December 5 of this year, at Specialized Public School No. 294 of the Mirobod District of Tashkent, an event titled “The Constitution is the Foundation of our State” was held in honor of Constitution Day. The event was organized by the faculty members of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sh.Masadikov, N.Raimova, D.Imamova, G.Lobanova, Sh.Umirzokov and S.Abdurahimova.

During this event, with the participation of school teachers and students, university professors and teachers, issues such as the basic principles of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rights and obligations of citizens, and the importance of our constitutional system in the life of society were widely covered. The role of the Constitution in the patriotic upbringing of young people, the future prospects of the younger generation and their legal culture were also discussed in detail.

During the event, students asked questions of interest to them and received detailed answers from professors and teachers. Ways to develop civil society based on constitutional values, increase the legal awareness of young people and strengthen their sense of national pride were discussed.

The event also provided detailed information about the national goals and objectives of Uzbekistan in the field of Sustainable Development. In their speech the university professors and teachers touched upon the systemic reforms being carried out in our country to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the national level. The professors and teachers emphasized that the Sustainable Development Goals are closely related to the democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution, ensuring human rights, developing civil society and supporting youth.

This approach served not only to strengthen students' constitutional knowledge, but also to understand Uzbekistan's place in global development processes and to strengthen their motivation to become responsible and active citizens for society.
