On November 21 of this year, the Sixth International Scientific Conference on “Creating an Intolerant Environment Towards Oppression and Violence Against Women” was held at the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” in cooperation with the UN General Assembly.

The conference was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Family and Gender under the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs. Professor and Doctor of Political Sciences from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, E.S. Sultanova, also presented a scientific report.

Scholars from Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Indonesia also delivered presentations, ensuring a broad international exchange of experience. All participants unanimously emphasized that absolute intolerance towards violence can only be achieved through joint efforts and preventive measures.
