UWED Hosts Masterclass on “Methodology for Developing Content for Foreign Language Video Lessons”

On October 20, 2026, the Department of Oriental Languages at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a masterclass titled “Methodology for Developing Content for Foreign Language Video Lessons”.
The masterclass was led by Dilnoza Nasullaeva, a Korean language lecturer in the Department of Oriental Languages. The primary objective of the event was to familiarize the department's faculty with modern capabilities in online foreign language instruction, effective digital tools, and interactive teaching methods.
The practical segment of the event drew upon experience gained during an educational trip to the Republic of Korea, organized in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Participants were shown the outcomes of work on instructional presentations and video lessons, as well as ways to apply these insights to their own teaching practices.
Particular emphasis was placed on designing presentations and producing video materials for online classes.
Holding such events helps develop the faculty's digital competence, integrate modern educational technologies, and enhance the quality of foreign language instruction at UWED.
