Divisions
The Office of International Academic Cooperation coordinates the cooperation activities of the University and its structural divisions, professors, teachers, and employees with foreign countries, including foreign higher education institutions and centers, student exchange, and their participation in international events.
The main tasks of the Office:
-Develops a strategy for international cooperation based on the agreements signed by the University with educational institutions and educational centers of foreign countries and determines its main directions;
-Provides relevant proposals to the University leadership on the development and improvement of international relations;
-Develops draft agreements on cooperation between the University and foreign educational institutions, centers, and other relevant organizations and makes recommendations on their formalization;
-Coordinates the general activities of the University's faculties, departments, and divisions in participating in projects aimed at implementing scientific and research activities with foreign states, non-governmental, and international organizations;
-Assists the faculties, departments, and divisions of the University in implementing educational projects with foreign partners;
- Facilitates the involvement of scientists, professors and specialists from foreign countries in the educational process of the University and their joint educational, methodological and scientific research work;
- Summarizes reports on foreign business trips of university professors and teachers and submits them to the University management;
- Establishes cooperation with diplomatic missions accredited in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, international organizations and foundations;
- Organizes and monitors international exchange and mobility programs for students and professors;
- Organizes the sending of professors, teachers and students abroad for education or scientific exchanges together with the Academic and Teacher Affairs Office;
- Supports the reception of students, professors and researchers from abroad, their accommodation, visas and orientation;
-Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports based on requests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;
-Recommendation of university professors, teachers, students, undergraduates and interns-researchers-researchers for the competition of grants announced by foreign partners for internships, advanced training, participation in training courses, master's and doctoral studies;
-Collecting and disseminating information about announced international grants;
-Attracting foreign investments by participating in international grants and programs;
-Inviting specialists from foreign universities to give lectures in their fields;
-Makes and implements proposals on the organization of activities in other areas of international cooperation.
