Biography Facts
Feruza Iskandarova holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. She is an alumni of the SPJES program and a recipient of the Nippon Foundation Scholarship. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with a major in the Economy of Foreign Countries (Far Eastern Countries). During her undergraduate studies, she won an Erasmus+ ICM scholarship and spent one semester abroad at CEFAM (Franco-American Business School) in Lyon, France. She did an internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo, Japan. During her Master’s studies, she also participated in the 21st Macroeconomist Training Program organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at the JICA Office in Tokyo.
Currently, she works as a Chief Specialist at the International Academic Cooperation Office, where she is responsible for partnerships with the Asia-Pacific region.
