    On October 7, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an event on the topic “We are talking about Uzbekistan and the world”. The event was held by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoev.

    During the lesson, issues of increasing the political consciousness and civic position of students, as well as strengthening the international authority of Uzbekistan were considered. It was noted that the purpose of this event is to expand the worldview of young people, strengthen the sense of civic responsibility and form a deep understanding of global political processes.

    In his speech, Rector S. Safoev highlighted the role of Uzbekistan in the international arena in the context of globalization, the priorities of the country's peaceful and open foreign policy, as well as the transition of international cooperation to a qualitatively new level. Current trends in world politics, their impact on the security and sustainable development of the region, and the importance of active participation of young people in these processes were also touched upon.

    In the format of a dialogue with students, S. Safoev stressed the need to increase their knowledge in the field of international relations, develop an analytical culture and the ability to independently assess world events.

    In the final part of the event, students asked questions and discussed topics such as Uzbekistan's cooperation with international organizations, the country's activities in regional political processes and the role of young professionals in global diplomacy.

    The lesson contributed to strengthening students' sense of national pride, devotion to the Motherland and the desire to further increase the international authority of Uzbekistan.
