On October 7, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) was visited by the Rector of the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt an der Oder, Germany), Professor Eduard Mühle. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and develop inter-university relations.

The Rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with members of the university administration, welcomed the Rector of Viadrina. The guest was presented with information about UWED’s activities, its academic priorities, and international partnerships. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues in higher education and the international agenda.

The two sides discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation between the universities, including academic exchanges, joint educational initiatives, and scientific events. Special attention was given to the prospects for collaboration in the fields of human capacity development, faculty advancement, and the strengthening of intercultural dialogue.

The visit took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Both sides expressed interest in further developing the partnership and implementing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and advancing the international academic community.
