A master class was organized for UWED students by the project manager of ACTED Uzbekistan

On October 22, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted an open master class for 4th year students of the Faculty of International Relations as part of the “Environmental Policy” course. The master class was delivered by Ainura Djunushalieva, Project Manager for the humanitarian organization ACTED Uzbekistan, on the topic of “Management of Transboundary Water Resources”.
The event was aimed at increasing students' awareness of modern approaches to the rational and sustainable use of water resources, including the application of modern technologies for accounting for water volume, especially in the transboundary basins of Central Asia.
Ms. Djunushalieva presented international experience in managing water systems, spoke about the region's existing environmental challenges, and emphasized the importance of interstate cooperation in the field of water diplomacy.
Drawing on her professional experience, Ms. Djunushalieva highlighted the role of international agreements and the significance of scientific research in solving transboundary water problems. Following the event, students had the opportunity to ask the expert questions and receive professional answers.
Such events contribute to strengthening the university's cooperation with international organizations and enhancing the professional training of future specialists in international relations.
