Seminar-Training for Female Students on International Educational Opportunities and Personal Development held at UWED

On September 26, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a seminar-training aimed at developing female students’ personal and social competencies, promoting the effective use of international educational and grant opportunities, and supporting their social and psychological adaptation to the university environment.
The seminar-training, titled “Pathways to International Grants: Personal Development, New Opportunities, and Social and Psychological Adaptation to the University Environment,” was organized through the collaboration of University Psychologist N. Norova and the Girls’ Coordinator of the Youth Union.
Particular attention during the session was given to developing the competencies necessary for female students to effectively engage with contemporary educational and personal development opportunities. The participants explored ways to identify and access international grant and educational programmes, set clear goals, plan their personal development pathways, demonstrate initiative, and develop their leadership potential.
The session also included interactive psychological exercises designed to strengthen effective communication and collaboration within the university environment, encourage active participation in teamwork, enhance psychological resilience and self-confidence, and develop the ability to assess personal strengths and opportunities objectively.
Through practical activities, participants had the opportunity to identify their strengths, analyse available resources and opportunities, define short- and long-term goals, and plan their future personal and academic development pathways.
The seminar-training primarily focused on developing students’ skills in recognising opportunities, setting clear goals, and taking consistent action towards achieving them.
This initiative contributes to encouraging female students to make active use of educational and personal development opportunities, strengthening their engagement in university life, developing their social and psychological competencies, and supporting their preparation for future academic and professional pursuits.
