Master class on legal regulation of entrepreneurial activity within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

In the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and in order to improve students' knowledge of legal regulation of entrepreneurial activities, a master class was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on October 25 of this year.
The class was attended by Ogabek Nodirbek ugli Tohirkhonov, a lawyer at the international law firm “Capstone and Legal Partners”, the chief lawyer of “DE LI SIN” LLC, as well as Shohrukh Umirzokov, a teacher at the Department of “Civil Law and International Private Law disciplines” of UWED, and 3rd-year students of the Faculty of “International Law”.
Lawyer Ogabek Tohirkhonov introduced the legal basis for the use of privileges and opportunities currently provided for entrepreneurial activity in our country and its practical results, and expressed his views on the prospects for the development of law in entrepreneurial activity.
The students showed great interest in the topics discussed, asked various questions on specific aspects of the entrepreneurial process, such as the establishment, registration, liquidation, and reorganization of legal entities, and received detailed answers from the expert.
This master class is in line with the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 16 – “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies, ensure access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and participatory institutions at all levels, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals”, in particular, paragraph 16.3 – “Promote the rule of law and ensure equal access to justice for all” and paragraph 16.7 – “Enhance the participation of citizens, business entities and civil society organizations in decision-making at all levels of government”.
This master class will help students develop in-depth knowledge of the legal regulation of entrepreneurial activities, prepare students for modern legal practices and enable them to play an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
