On May 14 of this year, in order to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of the spiritual and educational sphere, the preservation of national identity and the education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, a spiritual and educational event was held under the motto “National values in the Alley of Writers”.

Students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took an active part in it with their demonstration performances.

The main goal of the event was to further elevate our national values, national identity, spiritual worldview of our people through literature and art, to form a sense of respect for the historical heritage in the minds of the younger generation.

Within the framework of the event, meetings with famous literary figures, evenings of national music and poetry, a round table on the theme “Values are the spirit of the nation”, creative performances with the participation of students, a show of national costumes and an exhibition of handicraft art and painting were organized.

The participants of the event stressed that the preservation of national values and their introduction into the hearts of the new generation is the sacred duty of every citizen. Such educational events serve as an important factor in strengthening our national identity, ensuring the harmony of universal and national values.
