A spiritual and educational event on the topic “Girls as leaders of change” was held at UWED

In our country, October 11 is widely celebrated as the International Day of the Girl Child. In connection with this date, a spiritual and educational event was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the theme “Girls as Leaders of Change”.
The main goal of the event was to strengthen the social activity, leadership, initiative and self-confidence of young girls, as well as to further increase their role in society.
The event was attended by Advisor to the Rector of UWED on Women's Issues Etibor Sultanova, founder of the Iffatli Kelin project Barno Karimova, Senior Inspector for Women's Issues of Mirzo Ulugbek district, Lieutenant Colonel Feruza Jumanazarova, as well as Deputy Khokim of Mirzo-Ulugbek district for women's issues Nasiba Dushanova.
The event was opened by E. Sultanova with an opening speech. In her speech, she spoke about the active role of girls in society, their successes in education, science and public administration, urged girls to resolutely strive for their dreams and goals.
In her speech, the guest of the event, B. Karimova, expressed her opinion on the role of the family in the spiritual education of young people, the importance of girls' self-esteem and their active participation as a driving force for positive changes in society. Deputy khokim of Mirzo Ulugbek district for women's issues N. Dushanova also shared her motivating thoughts with girls, based on her life experience.
Lieutenant Colonel Feruza Jumanazarova urged young people to be attentive to legal literacy, social responsibility and their own safety.
The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere and became a useful spiritual and moral stimulus for young people.
This event was a logical continuation of the noble work carried out at the UWED on interaction with women, their comprehensive support and education of talented and leading girls.
