In accordance with the Calendar Plan of Events for Environmental Dates, approved by the Presidential Decree No PQ-171, it is planned to hold actions in Uzbekistan within the framework of the World Cleanup Day.

On October 10 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), activists of the Ecological Club organized and held a plogging campaign with the participation of university students. Plogging is a world-famous health and environmental movement that combines running with garbage collection.

During the event, participants collected plastic, paper, metal and other waste during the run, immediately sorting them for recycling.

The campaign was aimed at improving environmental culture, forming a responsible attitude to nature, developing team spirit and supporting the global initiative of World Cleanup Day. Such events play an important role in environmental education, promotion of a healthy lifestyle and consolidation of young people.

Regular implementation of such initiatives in the country's universities contributes to the education of an environmentally minded and active generation.
