In September of the current academic year, 22 talented students from the Faculty of International Economics and Management of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) were recognized as winners of the special scholarship competition held by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan!

According to the results of this annual special scholarship competition, the Faculty of International Economics and Management achieved the highest result among finance and other economics-related faculties in terms of the number of scholarship recipients.

The Central Bank Scholarship is one of the most prestigious programs for students pursuing degrees in economics. Its main objective is to provide financial and practical support to talented and promising young specialists.

 This year, more than 600 students from across the country took part in the competition, and as a result, 49 students were awarded the special scholarship (among them, 22 students represent of the UWED).

Starting from October, each scholarship holder will undertake a nine-month internship in various departments of the Central Bank, where they will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen their understanding of the Bank’s operations and financial mechanisms.
