On September 22, 2025, a delegation from the University of Malaya (Malaysia) visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). The delegation included Professor Asmak Ab Rahman, Professor Azizi Che Seman, Dr. Kamaruzaman Nurdin, and Dr. Nor Fahimah Mohd Razif. During the visit, lectures were delivered for students, along with a meeting with UWED leadership.

The series of lectures was divided into two parts. In the first part, Professor Asmak Ab Rahman and Dr. Nor Fahimah Mohd Razif spoke about the concept of Islamic social finance and elaborated on the essence of Islamic jurisprudence.

Following the first part of the lectures, the University of Malaya delegation held an official meeting with the leadership of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

During the discussion, both sides explored a wide range of issues related to prospects for further cooperation. Among the key initiatives outlined during the talks were the development of student academic mobility programs and internships, the organization of joint research projects, publications in international academic journals, and the holding of joint conferences and seminars.

After the meeting, the second part of the lecture series took place, with presentations by Professor Azizi Che Seman and Dr. Kamaruzaman Nurdin. Their lecture focused on the essence of Islamic insurance.

At the conclusion of the program, UWED students had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions of interest. Students were particularly curious about the practical application of Islamic finance principles in modern conditions. The lecturers responded thoroughly to all questions, emphasizing the importance of a deep understanding of the Islamic financial system for future specialists in the fields of economics and law.
