The UWED hosted an event under the motto: “The Constitution is a guarantee of human dignity, freedom, equality and justice!”

On December 4, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the motto “The Constitution — a guarantee of human dignity, freedom, equality and justice!”.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Spiritual and Educational Affairs O.A. Yusufjonov. Afterwards, the guest speaker, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdumannop Rakhimov, delivered a speech in which he elaborated on the ongoing constitutional reforms in the country, practical achievements in strengthening human rights and freedoms, as well as priority directions aimed at enhancing democratic principles in public administration based on the new Constitution.
During the event, teachers and students who demonstrated initiative and exemplary participation as part of the “Constitution Month” were specially recognized and awarded.
In the artistic segment of the program, talented students performed poems, melodies and songs dedicated to praising the Motherland. In addition, the university’s “Diplomat” Student Theater Studio presented stage performances that revealed the essence and significance of the constitutional norms and were aimed at preventing offenses and delinquency among young people.
This event served as an important spiritual and educational platform aimed at widely highlighting the role of the Constitution in the country’s development, promoting the principles of a legal state and civil society, strengthening legal awareness and responsibility among youth, as well as fostering respect for national values.
