On September 11 of this year, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodyq Safoev held a meeting with the students of the university.

In his speech, Safoyev elaborated on the current domestic and foreign policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, stressing that the ongoing reforms are of key importance for the sustainable development of the country and for future generations. Particular attention was paid to how the reforms create new opportunities for self-realization of young people and improving the quality of life in the long term.

During the event, S. Safoev made a speech on the domestic policy and economic development of the country, on the opportunities created for young people, as well as on the ongoing reforms in the education system.

At the end of the meeting, an open dialogue was organized with students: the participants asked questions, made suggestions and initiatives.
