On August 21 of this year, a working meeting of the team of authors working on the monograph “History of Diplomacy of New Uzbekistan (2017-2025)” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the leadership of the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the UWED Sodyq Safoev.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the CIS Economic Commission, employees of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), the Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS) under the UWED, as well as representatives of the scientific and diplomatic community, experts in international relations and the faculty of the university.

During the meeting, the structure of the future publication, thematic blocks and the distribution of chapters among the co-authors were discussed. Participants agreed on the timing of the drafts, the format of editing, the criteria for selecting sources and methodological approaches. Following the meeting, a plan for further work was approved and those responsible for coordinating individual sections of the monograph were appointed.
