As part of its international cooperation, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy actively implements academic exchange programs with leading foreign higher education institutions.

Third-year students of the Faculty of International Economics and Management of UWED Narzilloeva Nozliya, Goipova Zukhra, and Uktamova Adeliya studied during the spring semester of the 2024–2025 academic year at one of the most prestigious universities in the Republic of Korea, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), as part of a student exchange program.

This program served not only as a new source of academic knowledge for the students but also as a unique opportunity to develop skills for working in an international environment. The students gained firsthand experience of the Korean education system. HUFS’s multidisciplinary academic programs were tailored for international students and offered courses covering global issues and regional analysis. In addition to academic achievements, the students also made significant progress in areas such as intercultural communication and language practice.

The classes attended by the students during the academic semester were conducted using modern and interactive teaching methods. Students had the opportunity to learn about Korean society and traditions through participation in cultural events held at HUFS, the international student festival, language exchange programs, and various excursions. Throughout the semester, UWED students actively participated in activities organized by the International Students Organization (ISO) and gained deep insights into Korean culture and traditions.

Friendship, joint projects, and cultural exchange between Uzbek and Korean students made this experience even more unforgettable. Without a doubt, this semester contributed to the enrichment of the intellectual and cultural potential of UWED students.
