UWED students participate in Turkish language courses organized in Turkey

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024 between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy State University of Turkey (MAKÜ), UWED students participate in Turkish language courses organized in Turkey. This visit is an important step in further strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two friendly countries.
Important meetings were held from the first days of the visit. In particular, our students met with the rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Professor, Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, demonstrated their knowledge of the Turkish language and provided information about the activities of Uzbekistan and UWED. The rector highly appreciated the preparation and activity of our students and expressed his intention to expand cooperation in the future.
Also, within the framework of the visit, UWED students prepared presentations on national traditions, cultural heritage and historical wealth of Uzbekistan. Thanks to these events, the staff of the Turkish university became closely acquainted with the rich culture of our country.
This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (11 - "Sustainable Cities and Communities," 17 - "Partnership for Sustainable Development").
The University of World Economy and Diplomacy will continue to actively participate in achieving the SDGs by developing international educational and cultural exchange programs.
