    A ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the UWED Academic Lyceum was held

    On June 11 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a graduation ceremony for graduates of the UWED Academic Lyceum of the 2024-2025 academic year.

    The event was attended by the leadership of UWED, Deputy Head of the Department of Personnel and Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Zokirova, the teaching staff of UWED and the lyceum, as well as parents of graduates.

    During the ceremony, the management of the UWED presented the distinguished graduates with gold and silver medals and diplomas with honors, as well as letters of gratitude to teachers who showed diligence during the academic year.

    Executive Director of the Academic Lyceum O. Mannopova made a speech, talking about the educational activities of graduates over the past two years, wished them success in their future activities and presented letters of gratitude to the parents of the most distinguished graduates.

    It should be noted that this year 287 students graduated from the academic lyceum. Of these, 8 received a gold medal, 5 received a silver medal, and 47 received a diploma "with honors". 195 graduates received certificates confirming the level of proficiency in foreign languages, and 60 received certificates in certain subjects. Within the framework of a joint program with The European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), 67 students completed their studies, of which 21 were admitted to The European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) on a grant basis. Within the framework of a joint program with the Karelian University of Applied Sciences and the International Nordic University of Finland, 31 students graduated, of which 9 were admitted on a preferential basis to the 2nd year of the Faculty of International Economics and Business Management of Nordic International University, and 22 to the 1st year without entrance exams.
