The volunteer team “Yaxshilik” of the UWED visited the first children's hospice “Taskin”

On May 3, 2025, representatives of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, together with members of the Yaxshilik volunteer team, visited the first children's hospice “Taskin”, located in the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region. The hospice was created with the support of the Ezgu Amal Public Foundation in accordance with the resolution of the President of our country.
During the event, students actively spent time with children, communicated with them, organized interactive games, presented gifts and gave a lot of positive emotions. Sincere conversations were also held with parents, which significantly raised their mood and morale. A warm approach to childcare, including the work of social workers, psychologists and doctors, is aimed not only at medical treatment, but also at filling the life of a sick child with meaning. This once again confirms the priority of the principle “In the Name of Human Dignity” in our country.
The Yaxshilik project is aimed at showing kindness and mercy to children who have faced life's trials, as well as strengthening social solidarity and empathy in society. At the end of the event, the participants stressed the need for regular implementation of such good initiatives.
