As part of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, the English Department has launched a meaningful initiative to support inclusive and equitable learning opportunities.

Two children from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, Mengziyayev Zohid and Mengziyayev Abror, are currently receiving weekly English language instruction as part of this program. These classes are conducted by experienced faculty members Nodira Turgunova and Muniba Baxtiyarova, who are dedicated to fostering the children's language development and communication skills through personalized and consistent teaching.

In addition to academic instruction, Zohid and Abror are also actively involved in various engagement activities organized by the university. These include participation in cultural events, interactive English workshops, and collaborative educational sessions with university students. Such exposure not only enhances their learning experience but also promotes their personal growth, social development, and confidence in academic settings. The university environment provides them with a supportive and motivating space to explore new ideas and expand their horizons.

This initiative reflects the English Department’s ongoing efforts to promote educational equity and social responsibility. By integrating Mengziyayev Zohid and Mengziyayev Abror into both academic and extracurricular life, the department contributes meaningfully to the realization of the SDGs.
