On April 21-24 of this year, the leadership and a group of faculty of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took part in the advanced training course on the topic “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Modern Methods of Data Analysis”. This course was organized by Yandex Uzbekistan with the support of Yandex in Moscow.

This course was aimed at expanding professional knowledge and skills in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as developing skills in the practical application of artificial intelligence and data analysis in educational and management processes.

During the four-day program, students received in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

- architecture of modern artificial intelligence systems, in particular, large language models;

- practical application of artificial intelligence in the field of education;

- data analysis and visualization tools;

- ethical, legal and regulatory aspects of the introduction of artificial intelligence;

- international experience and trends in the development of digital technologies.

The classes were conducted by experts from Yandex and leading higher educational institutions.

The knowledge and practical experience gained during this course will serve to strengthen academic capacity in the field of digital technologies in Uzbekistan and further develop IT competencies in the educational environment.
