On November 28 of this year, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Marko Štucin visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoev held a meeting with the high-ranking diplomat.

The parties discussed key aspects of cooperation between the two countries, as well as opportunities for further strengthening partnership in science, technology and education.

One of the central issues was the discussion of student exchange programs that allow improving the level of education, broadening horizons and gaining international experience.

M.Štucin got acquainted with the activities of UWED, its educational programs and scientific initiatives.

As part of his visit, he held a meeting with students and the faculty of the university, during which he spoke about the domestic and foreign policy of Slovenia, its strategic goals and role in the international arena.

The meeting was an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations and creating new prospects for constructive interaction in the field of education and scientific research.
