SDG 1 and SDG 10: Department Staff Support Families in Need in the Yangi Avaykhon Mahalla

On 5 February 2026, faculty members of the Department of System Analysis and Mathematical Modelling at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy met with community activists of the Yangi Avaykhon mahalla. Together they drew up a plan to address local problems, and the team visited low-income families.

Following up on this initiative, on 16 March the department’s staff pooled their own funds, visited families on the mahalla’s list of households in need and provided them with financial assistance.

These charitable activities support SDG 1, No Poverty, and SDG 10, Reduced Inequalities, and reflect the university community’s commitment to social responsibility.
