On November 2, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an alumni meeting titled “Alumni Talk: From UWED to Ajou University”.

The event featured Olimjon Obidov, an alumnus of both UWED and South Korea's Ajou University, founder of the Das Team media and consulting agency, and creator of the “160-manzil” project.

During the meeting, students learned about study opportunities in South Korea, the admission process for Ajou University, preparing for international educational programs, and the specifics of studying abroad.

The event also covered ways to avoid common mistakes during university years, develop personal potential, and effectively plan a future career. Olimjon Obidov shared the experience he gained throughout his academic and professional journey, offering practical advice to the students.

This meeting highlighted the importance of initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and content of education at the university, raising students' awareness of international study opportunities, and passing on the practical experience of alumni to the younger generation.

Such dialogues foster independent thinking among students, help them acquire modern knowledge and skills, explore international experience, and grow into competitive specialists who meet the demands of the labor market.
