Associate Professor Laylo Tashpulatova, Head of the Department of International Economics at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, appeared as an expert on television and radio throughout 2026, explaining economic and international issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals to a wide audience.

On 6 February, she discussed the results of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy in episode 35 of the Russian-language podcast on Poytakht Radio (FM 107.2) (SDG 17). On 2 April, in a Poytakht Radio interview titled “Central Asia: A New Stage of Cooperation,” she spoke about regional cooperation, energy and climate (SDGs 7, 13 and 17).

She also appeared three times as an expert on “Aktualno: Studiya” on the Dunyo Bo‘ylab TV channel: on 15 April on attracting foreign investment (SDGs 8 and 17), on 4 May on priority reforms for the country’s economic development (SDGs 1, 3 and 8), and on 20 May on the Initiative Budget programme (SDGs 3, 4 and 16).

These appearances show how the university’s faculty share their expertise with the public and help raise awareness of sustainable development issues.
