In April 2026, M.Batirova, a lecturer at the Department of English Language of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, conducted “SDG Awareness” sessions for first-year students at the Faculty of International Economics and Management.

During the sessions, students explored the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), their key priorities, and the links between economic, social, and environmental development. Particular attention was given to poverty reduction, inequality, quality education, gender equality, responsible consumption, and climate change.

Through interactive discussions, group activities, and presentations, students examined global challenges in English, strengthening their critical thinking, communication skills, and understanding of sustainable development.
